Tony Stark says "the super soldier program was put on ice for a reason." He meant that literally. This film has a lot of Captain America teases. I definitely know what the directors and Kevin Feige were thinking when making this film. They planned everything.

When he said "bail", I started to think "wrong movie!:

I always love that clap the Hulk does and was SO happy they had it in this movie. But, he's not the only one who does that. The Super family does it too, Superman, Supergirl, etc. And I always called it the thunderclap. So, I'm always yelling "DO THE THUNDERCLAP!" when they need to do big crowd control of attackers. The blu ray has about 20 more minutes of deleted and extended scenes that make the movie much better because it fills out the characters and their motivations. You understand General Ross and Betty much better and their strained relationships. After I watched them, I thought, "They should've left this stuff in." Most times, you can tell why they cut certain scenes for time and they don't add much, but the ones for this movie I think add a lot. Also, this is not a Marvel Studios production, it's Universal so there is a difference in production, SPFX, etc.

I don't think she's going to like the 2003 hulk either because it has the worst of the worst CGI but to me the incredible hulk has the best special effects in the incredible hulk is one of my favorite hulk movies The avengers hulk wasn't my favorite I don't know if it's just me but Mark ruffalo didn't fit the role throughout the avengers movie The only thing the hulk does is act like a big child he doesn't act like the Big Green monster that we read in the comics the hulk is too comedic in The avengers

So General Ross has a version of the super-soldier serum that he uses on Yablonski, who then augments it with Gamma Radiation in order to become The Abomination.

The fight scene in Brooklyn where Hulk faced Abomination, was actually filmed in Toronto.

I really like both Hulk movies. I'm HOPING Marvel finally starts making Mark's Hulk movies. They are wasting too much time in not making the F'N Hulk MCU movies. We've been waiting years for it to happen.

The thing I've always loved about the Hulk, which is portrayed in this film perfectly, is just the sheer, unbridled, primal rage that he embodies. There are some days where I just want to scream like that and make the world tremble with fear at the fury unchained.

I remember when this came out the thing that hyped me up the most was that Tim Roth outran a jeep after getting shot full of serum and I was sure it meant Cap was coming soon

I prefer the HULK film before this, and this one is kind of a spiritual sequel in a way, Bruce flees to Africa or somewhere then this one carries on

I enjoyed the movie, Never really got the hate the movie received. They went with a montage in the beginning since they had already told the first part of the story with the movie hulk.

Sadly there is very little background on the Hulk in this movie. If u want a true background story on how and why Banner became the Hulk then watch the movie (Hulk 2003) As far as i know that is the only movie where they show and explain Hulk´s backstory other then just a few scenes as they do in all the other movies. The Hulk clap really dude??? Every1 knows it called the thunder clap.

3:36 Honestly, I feel like the design of The Incredible Hulk in these movies looked a lot better, he looked way scarier and like he'd beat the sh*t out of you, in other words, I like the actor that replaces the old one, but not the new design because looks a little too human I guess. (Not great with the IRL names of the actors)

Yes, the CGI isn’t that good compared to today’s standards but the film came out in 2008 so that’s saying how much film and cgi has improved through out the years.

The whole beginning in how he became the Hulk, This is the part 2 of "The Hulk" When he goes to south America, trying to keep low and find a cure. So he leaves Betty behind to protect her, and keep Gen. Ross off his back. Oh yea , before I forget, "The Hulk" Don't kill. Please watch the 2003 "The Hulk" is the beginning and connects to this one.

Jen I feel bad that holden can't really tell you certain things in these films but the further your into this MCU you will see these connections and some of them are small minor moments but worth seeing yourself. So hang in there, it's worth the wait.

Since they started making these MCU movies, this is THE best Hulk. I wound have lost it if this Hulk was in the Avenger movies.

I never thought about the beginning montage as "skipping" his original story as much as a quick reference of the 2003 "Hulk" movie with Eric Bana. Since it was only five years later I can only assume they didn't want to backtrack but couldn't really show many clips because of the recast.

The hell? The CGI in this movie was S+ tier for 2008, and still holds up really well.

It's clear that this film had a sequel in mind what with setting up Leader in the film. Honestly, why does Universal still own the rights to a Hulk Solo Film? I mean they haven't made a Hulk film since 2008. At this point, why not just sell it to Marvel so they can make Solo Hulk films. I mean I doubt they have any plans for another Hulk film. Also, I wish Edward Norton stayed on as The Hulk. Edward Norton is underrated as Bruce Banner IMO.
