How often will you and jen be watching and posting the MCU films?

@Marandahir Hmm, you make for a compelling argument. I see now that the shows fit much better with the MCU than I first believed.

​@Andreas Busch Eskesen Nielsen Incorrect. Marcus Daniels aka Blackout showed up in Captain Marvel as a prequel to his appearance in Season 1 of Agents of SHIELD. Nick Fury mentioned in Age of Ultron that he got the helicarrier from an old friend - aka, Coulson, as explained on the TV show. Vision in Civil War talks about the many-fold increase in powered people in the last eight years. There aren't actually a huge number if you only consider the movies at that point, but it's a hint toward the TV shows and how many showed up there. Captain Marvel draws on the art design for the Kree from Agents of SHIELD and Inhumans. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier discusses the US' efforts in creating a new Captain America after the Sokovia Accords, keeping it on the downlow so much so that even Sam and Bucky had no idea about it. This was previously discussed as a secret program that the US government was doing with General Talbot's involvement in Agents of SHIELD season 4, and directly created one of the powered people on that show (though with a much less refined super serum than the one that was recreated and used by the Flag-Smashers. Doctor Strange's Dark Dimension is a further exploration of a concept introduced earlier in the tv shows - Darkforce (in SHIELD S1, S3, and S4, Agent Carter S2, Cloak & Dagger both seasons, and Runaways S2 & S3), the Dark Dimension from whence it came (in Agent Carter S2), and "Hell" (in SHIELD S1, S4, S5, and S6). The Darkhold was previously explored in SHIELD S4 and Runaways S3, and has the power to change its appearance, hence its new design. It was also last sealed in the Dark Dimension, a place that Agatha Harkness would have been able to access as a Witch, as shown how Kaecilius, the Ancient One, and other magic users could access that dark realm. Agent Carter's Edwin Jarvis also shows up in Avengers: Endgame during the scenes taking place in 1970. Ant-Man featured Howard Stark-made implosion tech that was first featured as a plot point in Agent Carter Season 1. It shows up again in Agents of SHIELD Season 3, too (which was released and takes place after Ant-Man, but Agent Carter S1 was released beforehand and takes place years beforehand). Ant-Man and the Wasp features Ava Starr as a powered-Hydra operative doing Winter Soldier-y type things. However, the use of terminology like containment module for her suit is tech that SHIELD has developed on the Agents of SHIELD show. Agent Carter S1 was also released before Age of Ultron, and directly set up the Red Room Academy featured in Black Widow's flashback sequences (and will be featured again in Black Widow). Agents of SHIELD S2 and Agent Carter S1 both featured the Faustus method of mind-control, which was first introduced in Captain America 2, but the particular "Ready to Comply" line that is very heavily used in SHIELD S2, S3, S4, and S5 was carried over into Civil War as part of Bucky's mind control commands, seeing as it's part of the same program. Agent Carter S1 also sets up the Hydra-Leviathan alliance that is further explored in Civil War. Agent Carter S2 introduces the Manfredis as Maggia crime family operating in both NYC and LA. They're later featured as a NYC Maggia crime family in the Spider-Man: Far From Home deleted scene/MCU one-shot short "Peter's To-Do List." As an aside, between that show and the release of the Spider-Man sequel, the Maggia show up in Daredevil S3. The Triskelion is being repaired in Spider-Man: Homecoming when Peter and his friends visit DC. This is why it's fully repaired in Agents of SHIELD S7, which takes place during the Snap 5 year time skip. Nick Fury's space adventures are a direct evolution of what SHIELD are doing in Space in Seasons 5-7. Ms. Marvel shows Maximus the Mad on Kamala Khan's chalkboard, referencing the Inhumans show. It's also quite clear: Ms. Marvel is an Inhuman, and thus building upon the foundation set up by the shows Agents of SHIELD and Inhumans. There's a lot more I could list, but this post is already getting too long and is definitely spoilery. It's all canon, and it all goes two ways. But various properties that have no reason to reference each other won't, because they only have so much time and to waste it on telling us what Black Panther is up to when the story is about Wanda and Vision doesn't make sense. It does make sense to bring the Wakandans into Falcon and the Winter Soldier, however. Likewise, the adventures of the SHIELD agents isn't relevant to the Avengers' storyline except in vague connections and when their tales do intersect (usually through Hill or Fury, but also through Sitwell and Strucker and others), it's usually in vague and minute ways.

@Marandahir I believe you are mistaken. Stuff from the shows have never been mentioned in the movies. But AoS followed the MCU for a long time, most notably with the guest stars and Project Theta. In the last season of AoS however, the Triskelion could be seen in the background, leading many (myself included) to believe that AoS is no longer canon, given that there is no evidence that the building is standing in the current MCU

Since there was countless comments asking to make the its a fish a shirt in the first place, clearly a lot of people would lol.
