@Wlof25 -- No movie or movie franchise is perfect but the internal logic of the Snyder Cut is severely flawed. The movie tells us that thousands of years ago the Amazonians, Atlantians, Lanterns (well, one Lantern; I guess they couldn't spare more than one to save Earth), mythological gods and the race of men came together to defeat Darkseid. After his defeat three of the factions were tasked with guarding the Mother Boxes (not sure why the gods couldn't take one especially when all the men did was bury it in a hole about 4' deep) but once the Amazons and Atlantians both lose their respective Mother Box neither faction did anything else to protect the Earth from the most powerful and evil devices in the universe. So a battle that once took thousands if not millions of people to fight are not relegated to a half-dozen heroes and one human guy. That is a huge miss in terms of internal logic. You may want to believe that WB didn't rush their cinematic universe but reality doesn't support your theory. If you go by the date of each movie it's clear that WB wanted to get to their own Avengers as soon as possible. Actually, their primary motivation was the money the Avengers brought in. Man of Steel was released in 2013 and if the stories are to be believed the 2nd movie was supposed to be a proper sequel that didn't include Batman. But after the success of Avengers (2012) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), WB wanted in on the connected team trend so BvS, released in 2016, was born and thanks to a well-timed email from Bruce to Diana with some low-res Quicktime videos we got a promise of an Avengers-like moment from WB. So after only 1 movie WB figured they'd earned their moment to bring together a superhero super team while Marvel took the time across 4 films building worlds and characters making for a much more satisfying joining of forces. Then there's the fact that it took 4 hours worth of movie to tell the backstory of 3 new characters and although the Aquaman solo movie had already been released Snyder's lack of vision and cooperation with any other director created an entirely new look and world for Aquaman that's barely recognizable from the solo movie. Imagine if Marvel showed Wakanda as a small village in the middle of London with horses and carriage as their main mode of transportation only to see a completely different world when the Black Panther movie is released. Oh, and T'Challa has a New York accent instead of an African accent? I bring that up because Mera has a British accent in Justice League but not in the solo Aquaman movie. Everything about the Snyder Cut of the world of Aquaman is insanely inaccurate, which begs the question: who's running the show? Regardless of what Snyder and Wan planned on it doesn't matter because they broke the universe by creating two completely different looks and even logistics of how the world works. In the Aquaman movie the world is densely populated and looks like a technicolor amusement park (for the record, I enjoyed Aquaman) but in both versions of Justice League it's a depressing, desolate, desaturated, drab environment and no one can talk unless they're in a special air bubble. Otherwise they make noises like dolphins. Lastly, you don't have to take my word for it that Snyder threw away all the notes he was given in terms of making changes. In a recent interview when he was asked if the movie is his vision where he had complete control he responded by saying that WB had no notes before changing the story and saying that they didn't "really" have any notes and the notes they gave him he didn't use (here's a link: svpic.info/show/video/kNGYndB4iqSY3oA.html). I'm not suggesting that Marvel is perfect. Far from it but the people in charge of the DCEU just can't seem to make up their mind if they want to create a more realistic, gritty, grimy world or one bursting with color and comedy. WW84, Shazam, Birds of Prey, Aquaman and the upcoming Suicide Squad sequel/reboot are insanely saturated cartoony worlds while Snyder's movies are essentially gray, poorly lit, war movies. Well, except for his cut of Justice League that bounces back and forth a bit to the point where it doesn't really know what it wants to be. You can't convince me that Martian Manhunter fits in the same dark, gritty and desaturated world set up by BvS. The same world that features Jon Stewart and Neil deGrasse Tyson. Personally I don't see it.

MCU movies, for an example, are full of continuity errors, plot holes and break their own rules , and still people find it enjoyable. WB didn't rush with the movies. Snyder was doing his own thing. He had no interest in making MCU look alike cinematic universe. I have hard time believing that Snyder ignored some notes. I have actually heard that him and Wan had an arrangement for Wan to change some things in Aquaman.

He didn't It was there when the video came out, but they had to trim it down because of the copyright claims.

Actually, that is the one thing we can't blame Whedon for (that and the runtime). WB execs forced Zack to change the design because it was "too scary" or something like that, but yeah I agree that it shouldn't have been changed

Yeah. In today's Matt's behind the scenes video Holden explained that the reaction was long and they had some issues with copyright so they trim it if needed.
